Anyone shown in one is not a real person, not a real customer, and is not endorsing anything. The garment is real: every such image is built from the actual piece we sell, and we never use AI to make one look better than it is.

Every product page also carries at least one unedited photograph of the garment. When you are deciding, go by that one and by the size chart.

How an order becomes a contract

These terms govern your use of sahasravastra.com and any purchase you make here. By placing an order you accept them.

1. About us

SAHASRA VASTRA, a proprietorship registered in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India, referred to below as "we" or "us".

2. Who may order

You must be 18 or over and legally able to enter a contract. By ordering you confirm that the information you give us is accurate and that you are using a payment method you are authorised to use.

3. Products and product images

We photograph every product as faithfully as we can, but colours can appear differently on different screens, and slight variation between pieces is normal in cotton garments. Measurements on our size charts are of the garment laid flat and may vary by 1–2 cm between styles.

Use of AI-generated imagery. Some images on this website and on our social media channels are created or enhanced using artificial intelligence. This includes AI-generated models and AI-generated backgrounds and settings. Any person appearing in such an image is not a real person, is not a real customer, and is not endorsing our products.

Where we use an AI-generated image, it is always built from the actual garment we sell and is intended to represent it truthfully — the fabric, print, cut and colour shown are those of the real product. We do not use AI to make a garment appear better than it is.

Every product page also carries at least one unedited photograph of the actual garment. Where a product page uses AI-generated imagery, it is labelled as such. When deciding whether to buy, please rely on the unedited photograph and on the size chart.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of GST. The price shown is the price you pay for the goods; shipping, where applicable, is added at checkout.
We may change prices at any time, but never after your order is confirmed.
We are prepaid-only. We do not offer Cash on Delivery.
If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a technical or human error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it.

5. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. The contract forms when we confirm dispatch. We may decline or cancel an order — with a full refund — if the item is out of stock, the address is not serviceable, the payment is flagged, or we suspect misuse.

6. Shipping, collection, returns and refunds

Delivery timelines and charges are set out in our Shipping Policy. Our position on returns, replacements and refunds is set out in our Refund Policy. Both form part of these terms.

Where you choose to collect your order in person instead of having it delivered, collection is by prior appointment only, arranged with us on WhatsApp. We are an online store and do not operate a walk-in counter.

7. Care and use

Please follow the care instructions on the garment label. We are not responsible for damage caused by incorrect washing, bleaching, or hot drying. Adult supervision is expected when dressing infants and young children.

8. Our content

The Sahasra Vastra name, logo, product photographs and website text belong to us. You may not copy, reproduce or use them commercially without our written permission.

9. Reviews and photographs you send us

You may choose to send us a written review, or a photograph of your child wearing something you bought from us. This is always optional and is never a condition of any purchase, refund or claim.

If you send us a photograph, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of any child appearing in it, and that you agree to us publishing it on our website, our Instagram page, or our Facebook page.

Where we publish it, we undertake that:

We show your first name only. We never publish a child's full name, age, school or location.
We remove location data from the image file before posting.
We do not use it in paid advertising unless we ask you separately and you agree.
You may ask us to take it down at any time, for any reason, and we will do so without asking why. We remove it from public view immediately and delete it from our systems within 30 days.

These undertakings are set out in full in section 10 of our Privacy Policy and form part of these terms. If anything in this section appears to conflict with that policy, the Privacy Policy applies.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019.
